Amir is a webpreneur with over a decade’s experience in the online world.

He started out his career at Accenture, a leading technology management consulting firm. Based in London, he specialized in the Communications & High Tech industry advising Fortune 500 clients such as BSkyB, Microsoft, Virgin Media and WorldCom.

In 1999 he setup his first online business which was a severe disaster.  Getting a little too excited about the dot com rush and having no savings, he used his credit cards to finance the venture. He knew that the internet was going to change peoples lives so he wanted to be a part of it, rather than just read about it.  Within 9 months he had racked up over $100,000 in debt.  The bank would not lend him any more money – so he went broke.

He went back to the corporate world where he worked for another three years to pay off his debts.

In 2003, he co-founded his second business, Txtfo.com.  Txtfo (pronouced text-fo) and short for text information.

This time he thought that mobile was going to be even bigger than the internet. He spent 18 months coding a product in his bedroom which enabled people to shop on Amazon using text messaging.  A customer could text any book, cd or dvd and the service would search on Amazon. The simplicity of the service won it the 2005 European Prize for Innovation – selected from 560 entries.

Txtfo was acquired by Mobile Financial Services Ltd in a cash and equity deal in 2007.  Amir bought back the company in 2009, a part of his new venture aartec.

Amir has worked with or advised in innovation, strategy and marketing some of the most recognized brands on the planet such as Google, Intel, Samsung, Xbox, Accenture, Government of Dubai and Microsoft.

Amir currently runs several “autopilot” businesses including:

- www.txtfo.com – a simple way of requesting electronic documents through sms

- www.WebpreneurUniversity.com – online learning

- www.RebrandPakistan.org – rebranding of countries

He is now available to help you.  You can rent his brain or his time by getting in touch with him and he can work globally – usually based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai in the UAE.

He lives at home with his computer and no kids.

Amir has an MBA with Distinction in Leadership from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. A First Class (BSc Hons) in Computer Science with Business and Management from the University of Manchester, UK and an International Baccalaureate from The International School of Brussels, Belgium.  He is also a graduate of Anthony Robbin’s Mastery University and a certified NLP and Hypnosis Practitioner.
